CLIMATE IMPACTS AND OPPORTUNITIES IN APPALACHIA WEBINAR DISCUSSION

You are invited to learn about the Appalachian Climate Knowledge and Resilience Nexus (ACKRN), an exciting new initiative supported by the North Carolina Institute for Climate Studies (NCICS), West Virginia High Technology Foundation (WVHTF), Invest Appalachia (IA), and the Appalachia Funders Network (AFN).

ACKRN aims to establish a comprehensive climate knowledge ecosystem throughout Appalachia, fostering resilience and innovation amidst climate change. Our mission is to connect climate science and data, decision-making, and action, especially focusing on underserved populations. Furthermore, we're devoted to sparking climate-focused technology entrepreneurship, supporting sustainable community development, and fostering a climate-aware approach to finance and investment in the region.

In this webinar, we will explore ACKRN in more detail, discussing its potential impacts and opportunities for engagement. Your participation and expertise could significantly contribute to this initiative.
