- FAHE is hiring a Project Director for their Partners for Rural Transformations project which is "eliminating persistent poverty, advancing prosperity and economic justice." The Partners for Rural Transformation consists of regional and national community development organizations that work together to affect change in rural America.
Invest Appalachia is hiring a Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Invest Appalachia is an emerging nonprofit and impact investment fund. The CEO “will be a dynamic and forward-thinking leader who collaborates to operationalize and launch a successful blended impact investment platform that accelerates market growth in Central Appalachia.”
- Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation (MRBF) is hiring a Chief Equity and Learning Officer. MRBF’s mission is “helping people and places move out of poverty and achieve greater social and economic justice. Its footprint spans 11 Southern states: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. It is a family foundation with total assets of $200 million and an annual grantmaking outlay of approximately $9 million.” The Chief Equity and Learning Officer will guide the organization’s focus on equitable funding and programming.
Training, Fellowships, Institutes:
- Working Films created a Rural Cinema Institute meant for leaders to create Documentaries on environmental issues in rural areas. Apply by February 19th. This in-person assembly in rural communities is critical for civic engagement and progress across the nation.
