What is ARC’s Appalachian Nonprofit Resource Center?

As a funder, do you wish that you knew where to steer your grantees for easily accessible resources to help them grow their operations and strengthen their programs and services?

As a nonprofit leader, are you looking for a centralized place to find best practices to help you manage your finances, improve your fundraising, and support your board members?

On June 9, 2022, AFN hosted a virtual speaker event to share more about the Appalachian Nonprofit Resource Center, featuring Bettina Jones, Program Analyst in the Division of Critical Infrastructure at the Appalachian Regional Commission.

ARC views capacity-building for community-based organizations as essential to achieving its goals in grant-making. Its robust Appalachia Nonprofit Resource Center contains curated resources in financial management, fundraising, programs/operations, and board development. In addition, the nonprofit cohort training program focuses on building current and future grantees' capacities to help amplify direct grant investments into the Appalachian region.

View the Recording of this virtual speaker event to learn more about this resource as you consider how to further build the capacity of your grantees, current and future, as well as your partner organizations.
