Building Relationships & Trust

Communities of Practice (CoPs) are member-only, practice-based peer circles that meet regularly. Designed as high-connection spaces where members share insights, exchange strategies, and grow their networks, participation in any CoP is free as a membership benefit.

Our Communities of Practice

Cappalachia

A dedicated space for collaboration and knowledge-sharing among our members who work in or support financial, CDFIs, CDEs, and impact investment organizations in Central Appalachia.

CEO Circle

To provide a trusted, generative space for philanthropic CEOs to reflect, learn, and lead together — strengthening both individual leadership and collective strategy for a more equitable and resilient Appalachia.

Funding for the Moment We Are In

Designed for funders navigating a rapidly shifting landscape, this community explores trust-based philanthropy, mutual aid models, and community-driven decision-making — approaches rooted in relationships, flexibility, and shared care.

Arts & Culture

Connecting funders who see creative practice as essential to social, economic, and environmental well-being.

Comms

Developed for communications professionals, this community fosters shared learning, strategy alignment, and storytelling practices that elevate regional voices and build public trust in philanthropy's role.
