Non-Solicitation Policy

The Appalachia Funders Network enforces a non-solicitation policy at all of our events, conferences, meetings, webinars, and other gatherings, as we recognize the sensitive history of extraction in our region. For this reason, and following this, we uphold a commitment to avoiding the continuation of exploitative practices through what we would consider transactional interactions, or solicitation. We do believe in fostering relationships and an environment based on respect and mutual benefit through an even deeper understanding of this regional context and collective memory. Because of this, please help us maintain these standards by refraining from solicitation unless explicitly invited by a member for future contact.
